There’s nothing more Aussie than a meat pie, topped with tomato sauce. It’s easy to take the humble meat pie for granted, but if you travel to the United States, most people there have never eaten or even seen a meat pie. I consider myself a bit of a pie connoisseur, so my question for this week is — where can one buy the best meat pie in Logan? A pie with the perfect ratio of steak and gravy… and a decent side of chips wouldn’t go astray either. Yatala Pies is the most famous pie shop in these parts — and for good reason; their price and quality are both admirable. But in terms of pure taste, Andrews Butchery in the Hyperdome would certainly give them a run for their money. So this is where you come in, dear reader.
